2007 in a nutshell, the toughest year so far.
The year of - you don’t want no drama, no, no drama, no, no, no, no drama - but still, you can't always get what you want. So, drama it is...
But to top all of the life dramas, the biggest highlight of the year and so far was of course the birth of my darling niece, the 3rd generation of Mokhtar's family - lil miss Balqis Qistina binti Shahril Izwan. She's the family's pride and joy, the cure against one's fatal pain, at least for my pain. A 9-month-old now she is now. 3 months to go until her 1st birthday bash, insyaAllah. See, how time moves so fast, i can hardly believe to see the lil missy bursting into beautiful bloom! Semoga jadi anak solehah ya qis.
Next, a few days after the birth of qis qis, ayah was admitted to HUKM. His Achilles tendon (cord that connects the heel bone to the lower leg) was torn and had to undergo some construction to fix the problem. Ayah had one of the most difficult moments in his life where due to the construction, he could only move with the help of crutches and wheel chair. And it was depressing for us as well to see him moving with those stuffs, when after all this while he could freely move on his own. If i were in his situation, i don't know how i would react towards it. Maybe worse. It was going on for months until the doctor said that the chances for him him to walk like normal was 50-50, or, almost impossible. But God is Great. With Allah's miracle he's able to walk like normal, but running is not advisable. Whatever it is, Alhamdulillah dan syukur sangat2.

Other events:
- New job, new company, a whole new working environment, and i HATEEE it (the odd hours and sleepless nights)!
- Left one of the national flagships to work in the current company. Really love working in Cyberjaya. Tenang dan aman damai.
- Meeting the fav band dari seberang, twice in a year! Great bunch of people they are!
- Application to further studies got rejected when suddenly this year they decided to change the policy of the eligibility of applicants. Why suddenly this year? Whyyyy??
- New digi cam, mp3. =)
- Family trip to Langkawi - an island in the sun.
- you don’t want no drama, no, no drama, no, no, no, no drama....
- and the list goes on...
So, my hope and wish for 2008?
Yes, hope everything will turn out great for me and people around me. I wish I could be happy like theArnish Amish, with the 100% contentment in life. Current rate is not even reaching 50%. Praying hard for good things to happen. Be stronger and have more faith in life. Better luck for me hopefully.
